Two Teams to Delaware

We are proud to share that after our B Team qualified to ORCS last week in Richmond, our A Team did the same this week in Raleigh! The A team qualified out with a record of 6-2 after 4 competitive rounds. C Team additionally had a strong showing with one of the toughest schedules at the Regional.

It was an excellent job all around, and a special congratulations to Nadia Creve Coeur for her perfect, 20 ranks All-Regional Witnessing Award, and to Paden Gallagher and Jack Culhane for their All-Regional Attorney Awards.

After a strong display at Regionals, GW is looking forward to sending two competitive teams to the Wilmington, DE ORCS which will be held the weekend of March 24-26.

B Team Qualifies in Richmond!

We are proud to share that our B Team had an impressive showing at the Richmond Regional Tournament this weekend! With a strong record of 6-2 at an exceptionally competitive regional, GW Mock Trial has earned its first bid to the Opening Round Championship Series for its 2017 season!

Congrats to the entire team on their hard work, and a special shoutout to Hannah Bloom for her All-Regional Attorney Award and Samantha Paralikis for her All-Regional Witnessing Award. Way to go, B!

This upcoming weekend the A & C Teams will be competing at the Raleigh, NC Regional Tournament, and are looking forward to earning two more bids of their own!

First Place at Duke

We are excited to share that all 3 GW teams have had a fantastic weekend.  GW’s A Team took 1st place at the Tobacco Road Invitational at Duke, and both the B and C Teams finished with winning records at University of Pennsylvania’s Quaker Classic!

After four rounds of great competition, our A team finished as the only team at the tournament with an undefeated record of 7 wins. Our B team had a stellar record of 6 wins and our C team made a proud finish with 5.5 wins. An additional congratulations to Alex Simone for her individual attorney award at Duke, and to Nadia Creve Coeur for her outstanding witness award at UPenn!

We’d also like to take a moment to recognize the unsung heroes of this weekend that we don’t acknowledge nearly enough, our coaches and graduates. Although we are a student-run program, the comments and advice we receive from them is truly invaluable.  A huge thank you to the coaches Jeremy Carter, Anneliese Mahoney, and Kyle West, along with graduates Molly Hogan and Izabella Babchinetskaya for helping us prepare for this weekend!
