Anneliese Mahoney

Anneliese joined mock trial as a freshman in 2010, and continues to be mistaken for a freshman in 2016. While competing for GW, Anneliese mainly played the roles of an expert, a crying witness, and an attorney. Anneliese was a three year member of the A team, three year member of the Executive Board, and President of the organization as a senior during the 2013-2014 season. She competed at the National Championship Tournament twice, in 2012 in Minneapolis, MN, as a double sided witness, and in 2014 in Orlando, FL, as the closer for both the State and the Defense.

Anneliese graduated from GW in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in International Affairs, and now serves as the lead editor for LawStreetMedia.com. After graduation, she took on the role of GW Mock Trial’s assistant coach, and now actively haunts her former college campus. In her (very limited) free time, Anneliese enjoys making really lame jokes, brunching, and playing bar trivia with her friends.
