Jeremy Carter

10334472Jer and Anneliese

When he first tried out for GW Mock Trial in 2009, Jeremy really had no idea what mock trial was or what he was getting himself into. But all these years later he apparently made the right choice, because he’s still hooked. Over the years, Jeremy was both an attorney and witness – specializing in closing arguments, character witnessing, and playing the sad dad. He was a three year member of the Executive Board, three year captain of GW’s A Team, and President of the organization his senior year. In 2012, he captained and closed for the State on GW’s A Team that finished sixth at Nationals in Minneapolis, MN. Jeremy graduated from GW in 2013, and is thrilled to continue with GW Mock Trial. Jeremy has additionally worked as a Litigation Paralegal on the antitrust team at Proskauer Rose LLP in downtown Washington, D.C. When he’s not coaching or working, he enjoys talking about mock, binge watching television, and ruling the D.C. area bar trivia circuit with fellow coach Anneliese Mahoney. Jeremy may have recently headed off to Law School at UVA, but GW Mock Trial is still stuck with him.
