With finals (and Regionals) right around the corner, we wanted to share our success during this prestack season.
First, we’re thrilled to welcome 14 new members to GW Mock Trial this semester! Our tryouts were a huge success and we’ve added fantastic new talent to the team. Our newest members are: Jeanelle Agyem, Vaishnavi Bhalla, Sarina Dadarwala, Joseph Eng, Anirudh Hebbatam, Meher Harjani, Rebecca Kaplan, Charlotte McCourt, Suhani Mathur, Lucas Ryan, Tania Rachidi, Logan Rasso, Victoria Senderzon, and Sawyer Sudit.
We’re also excited to announce our results from the prestack season. Out of nine invitationals across our three teams, we earned honorable mentions or placed at seven, with a final prestack record of 46–21–5. Notably, we’ve amassed 11 individual awards across these tournaments!
In addition, our members have been working hard preparing for upcoming tournaments like CUBAIT, hosted by Columbia University, and GAMTI, hosted by University of Virginia. We’ve also held several workshops, scrimmages, and team bonding events, including our annual Mocksgiving celebration.
The dedication from our members this semester has been incredible. We’re looking forward to continued success as we embark on the #RoadtoChicago! Stay tuned for more updates soon.
