Bio: Maya Maltez is from the heart of central New Jersey (yes, it does exist) in East Brunswick. She did theater in middle-school and junior high school for a few years, then decided she wanted to switch gears to witnessing in Mock Trial, and she is so glad she did! Over the 4 years and counting she has both done the activity and taught it, Maya has formed countless relationships and has enjoyed every second of competing. She will always try to push a New Jersey witness no matter how little the character actually fits. Outside of Mock, she enjoys weight lifting, music, and watching Love Island for the drama.
