Bio: Neha Davaluri is from Simi Valley, California which is right outside of LA (but she’ll tell anyone and everyone that she’s actually from Los Angeles because no one knows where Simi Valley is)! Ever since she was little she would get into heated discussions at the dinner table over how much salt was necessary for a dish or even with the neighborhood kids about the true winner of a game of hide-and-seek. As a result, adults often told her “you should be a lawyer!” probably backhandedly, but she took it and ran with it. Ever since, Neha has competed in mock trial since middle school, at the county, state, and international level, pretty much providing her blood, sweat, and tears to the activity. Outside of mock, Neha serves as Director of Advocacy for GW’s Leading Women of Tomorrow chapter and volunteers with GWSB’s VITA program, which helps low-income people in the D.C. community file their tax returns. You will always find her binge-watching the original Gossip Girl (a show that she has rewatched 16 times and counting and she will forever urge her teammates to give the show a chance)!!
